Being a content marketing writer wasn’t always in the cards for me. I got my start chasing stories for the local college news column while earning a BBA in Marketing.
It was actually a tedious but worthwhile digital marketing class that introduced me to the world of content writing.
I’d say the rest is history, but that class inspired a new line of work that I’m pursuing to this day.
My fondness for research probably comes from those early days when everything needed a source. And while it pays to do the research, I’ve learned that experience happens beyond the desk.
